Sandles

Do you remember last year I wrote about my towel who has been with me longer than any bloke? Well this year meet sandles!

Sandles were purchased at Clarks at Cheshire Oaks around 2000! They have walked four continents with me:

Europe, America, Australasia and Asia.

They have been plodding the streets this year and for any of you who think when I go away it's a rest. Let me tell you that to date I have walked, according to my FitBit or as I call it my FatBut I have walked so far

71.11 miles 

How cool is that? Well it's not cool it's bloody hot but you get what I mean.

So thank you sandles. I know you are not cool looking and trendy in the UK, but you just fit in fine on my travels and i hope you continue to serve me just as well as my towel, which for the record is of course with me 😊
